L'uomo più velenoso del cobra

Digitmovies, with collaboration of Gruppo Sugar, presents for the very first time on CD, the complete OST in full stereo, by Stelvio Cipriani for the Giallo movie “L’uomo più velenoso del cobra” (aka “Cobras humanas” – “Plus venimeux que le cobra”) directed in 1971 by Bitto Albertini (under the pseudonym of Albert J. Walker) and starring Giorgio Ardisson, Erika Blanc, Alberto De Mendoza, Luciano Pigozzi,Luis Induni, Percy Hogan. Tony (Ardisson), the coach of a Swedish hockey team, returns to the U.S. after the murder of his brother and wants to shed light on the incident. After some investigations, Tony is convinced that he has found the guilty one in the person of George Mac Greves (De Mendoza), a former partner of his brother, who now is on a mission in Kenya. Tony, along with Leslie (Blanc), the widow of the deceased brother, travels to Africa to get hold of George. After incredible adventures and after the death of George, Tony discovers that his brother had been killed by a gunman hired by Leslie. When the woman realizes that she is going to be unmasked, she runs away, but perishes in a scary car accident. Stelvio Cipriani has written an adrenaline, rhythmic OST which is just perfect for highlighting all the action described in the film and which features a dynamic jazz theme that gives a nod to the immortal tune of “Mission: Impossible” composed by Lalo Schifrin, alternating it with suspense themes and romantic motifs with a lounge flavour, sometimes with female vocalism. For this CD with a duration of 40:50 we could use the stereo master tapes of the recording session. A CD for all fans of the legendary Stelvio Cipriani around the world.
