Digitmovies proudly presents the third volume of its "Bruno Nicolai in Giallo" Series: "TUTTI I COLORI DEL BUIO" (All the colour of the darkness) again starring Edwige Fenech as the main carachter of a giallo story this time enriched with all the colours of the darkness cause the young girl is obessed by a group of Devil's whorshipers in the modern London of 1971. Bruno Nicolai has written and conducted one of his best scores for this genre and in 1972 an album (very hard to find today) was printed containing only an half hour of music:the original 33 rpm LP was produced almost with a library album concept containing 14 tracks mostly giving a lot of space to avant-garde and atonal music, very hard listening experience and the only romantic moments were represented by the lovely Theme called "Magico incontro" (Magic meeting) in two versions, the first on side A vocalised by Edda Dell'Orso and the last one on side B reprised as instrumental with Flute a bec. Revisiting the stereophonic master tapes of the original january 72 Recording Session we luckily discovered a lot of music that never appeared before on the original album: allternate takes of the Love theme vocalised by Edda , a motif possibly first intended as Main Titles but in the movie's final cut the opening credits really doesn't feature music. The score is mostly based on many very dramatic and gloomy orchestral music passages, sometime fastly rhythmical, sometimes athmosferical and suspended, that perfectly give to the listener a big sense of continous anguish, fear and mystery considering that the main carachter is scared of a bloodthirsty demoniac sect. Besides the romantic Love theme, the movie score contains another very important main theme: The "Sabba" music that we present here in three versions: The "A Capella" version (tr.15) and the two exciting psychedelic-Lounge reprises with Beat arrangement (tr.19 and 28) with the powerfully explosive performance of I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni. Besides Edda Dell'Orso and I Cantori Moderni we must mention the sitar performace of the great Alessandro Alessandroni in this score. De-luxe limited edition with 8 full colour pages booklet
